Rave of the moment,David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has denied that he’s signed under Dbanj’s record label, D’Banj Records. He made this statement during an interview with Saturday Independent, the damiduro crooner expressed his respect for  D’banj and said although they’re working together, he is still an independent artist under his own label. I am not signed under his label at the moment. We are working together and he has business for me and we will see what the future holds Davido said.
The 19-year-old, Davido, is currently a 300 level student of Babcock University,and he co-runs his HKN label along with his cousins and label mates, Shina Rambo and B Red and he recently launched his debut album O.B.O(Omo Baba Olowo).In the interview he also talked about his success, which he refers to as ‘sudden and unexpected.’ According to him, the secret behind his fast fame is something he doesn’t understand, but is grateful for: Everything is faith. I cannot really explain how it happened. I don’t know how it happened…I did not plan all this…

The cute couple Darey and Deola Art Alade have announced the arrival of their second baby with joy this Friday. The couple welcomed the new baby girl yesterday, in  a London hospital, after the birth of their first child, Femi Art-Alade who was born on December 28, 2007. According to a statement from their publicists- It’s the couple’s second child.. R&B singer Darey, who’s in London with his wife says he’s ‘extremely happy and grateful to God’. Mother and baby are both doing very great’.

Eme singer Wizkid and rapper Naeto C have been recently endorsed as ambassadors of Eko Football, a Lagos State soccer festival which will be holding its first event in September 2012 and this year would take place from September 27-30, 2012. A few months ago, the Lagos State Football Association (LSFA) announced that the first Soccerex event in West Africa, the Soccerex Seminar Lagos would be hosted in Lagos; the Eko Football Festival will also take place in Lagos; coinciding with Soccerex Seminar Lagos this September.
According to the Organizers, the Eko Football Festival will be a first of its kind event in Nigeria, where football and the entertainment industry will converge. The plan is to improve the level of football tourism in Nigeria. And in order to deliver a successful event, LSFA recently announced their partnership with media company Storm 360.
Storm 360 is extremely proud to be the producers of the very first annual Eko Football Festival and look forward to a long and positive association with the Lagos State Football Association.
